Cleric urges FG to make life easier for masses.
General Overseer of Christ Redemption Bible Church, Worldwide, Pastor John Oluwadara, has urged the Federal Government to make things easier for the masses.
The cleric, who also applauded the government’s anti-corruption war, pleaded with Nigerians to be patient for the results.
He said: “I suggest that Nigerians should be patient with this government. I know that things are hard, but I think that at this level, our government is working; but they deserve little patience.
“The government should try and make things easier for the suffering masses. I can see they are working towards that direction, especially in the area of corruption. Imagine the amount of money they recovered from unpatriotic Nigerians.”
Addressing newsmen on the church’s 21st Convention themed ‘Multiple Grace’, which started last week to culminate in a thanksgiving service on Sunday at the church premises in Ketu, Lagos, he enjoined other religious leaders to pray for the country.
He said: “We cannot continue to blame our leaders, but we should do what is right to promote the country and make it work. We should stop condemning our leaders; rather, we should pray for them and I believe we will get to the promised land.”
Oluwadara also disclosed that the church had acquired a campground along the Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway, which would accommodate a university, college, and farm.
Urging Christians to get involved in politics, he assured them of his prayers, adding that the church would use the convention to intercede on behalf of the country’s leadership, as well as Nigerians and 2019.
